El Señor de los Anillos y Star Trek.
¿Cómo es posible que el pasado mítico y remoto de la Tierra Media y el futuro distante del siglo veintitrés se aúnen en una canción?
El responsable no es otro que Leonard Nimoy, el recordado Señor Spock de la serie original y las seis primeras películas de la saga. Don Leonard, aparte de dedicarse a la televisión, tiene una carrera como cantante en la que acumula unos cuantos elepés, algunos con versiones de viejos temas sesenteros (como el patriotero y ñoño If I a had a hammer) pero otros con composiciones propias, en las que destaca este cántico a las aventuras de Bilbo Bolsón, el hobbit que encontró el anillo que.... bueno, ya saben (y si no, a leerse el libro o a verse las pinículas, que para eso están.) Con ella les dejamos:

da-puffin' on his pipe in his hobbit-hole.

¡No se vayan todavía que aún hay más! Por si esto no fuere bastante, aquí les dejamos el vídeo correspondiente, donde un Nimoy que no ha abandonado su peinado vulcaniano, cuenta y canta la historia de Bilbo ¡Bilbo! Bilbo Baggins, que sólo mide tres pies de alto, a un ballet de señoritas muy interesadas en el asunto.
